Martina joins Development Seed as the Director of Business Development. She has over 8 years experience working in the tech for development sector across Africa and has experience building sales teams, advising and implementing on go-to-market strategies, and managing product design.

Prior to DevSeed she was based in London and working for a leading African consulting firm, Genesis Analytics, building their digital tool service offering. Before that, she was the Director of Business Innovation at a chatbot company based in Kenya.

She is passionate about creating an impact in developing countries through the use of data and technology. She brings with her years of experience growing a business development team and building relationships across sectors. When she’s not networking and closing deals, she’s cycling, exploring a new city, or learning to surf.
