The right person for this job is someone who is passionate about making the world a better place, likes drawing or painting creative designs, and likes thinking about data visualization.
Development Seed is an online strategy shop that builds online tools for international development agencies and progressive organizations. In every project we work on, we take on tough communications problems that our clients are facing and often develop brand new tools to solve them. When we get up in the morning, we know that there's an important challenge waiting for us and that we'll take it on with a team of communications strategists and engineers in a fast paced and creative environment.
Our team has been built by bringing a bunch of smart people together, putting them in the same room, and letting them dance. You’ll work with a team of developers to craft the strategy and IA of a project, and then will jump into its design. We believe a website’s design drives its success, so you’ll know exactly how the site will work up front so you can create a design that compliments it.
We’re a young team that is passionate about building communications tools that make world-changing organizations more effective. We scrum, and we follow other agile development practices. We work hard and fast, and we're not afraid to try a completely new approach if we think it's the best option. We play a lot of foosball, and we drink a lot of beer together after hours.
