The first DC Drupal meetup of 2009 is taking place tonight at 7:00 pm at Stetson’s, so if you’re in the area and interested in Drupal, come join us tonight! These meetups are great for all levels of Drupalers, from novice to expert, so don’t be shy if you’re new to the community. Following our usual format, we’ll take about a half hour for 5-minute lightning round presentations where anyone can take the floor to talk about something Drupal related. To give you an idea of what topics are covered, last month, someone presented on a new site that launched on Drupal, on a new module that was just released, and asked the question of why we all choose to build on Drupal. That last question sparked a lot of conversation, not surprisingly : )

Also tonight Addi will be giving away a copy of the new book Using Drupal, so come try to win a copy, and I’ll have some DrupalCon DC swag to give out as well.
