I spent this past Saturday celebrating Drupal's 6th birthday and the release of Drupal 5.0 with other Drupalers in Budapest. It was great to finally meet the others in the hu Drupal community face-to-face.

Around 20 to 24 of us came out to celebrate and spent the evening discussing Drupal features, particularly internationalization, giving module demos, and just getting to know each other. It was good to see people come out with a wide range of skills - we had system admins, experienced Drupal programmers and designers, and some newbies who
wanted to explore Drupal's possibilities.

Of course it wouldn't be a birthday party without cake and some drinks. Development Seed provided the Drupal birthday cake pictured here, and Hojsty Gabor brought the champagne. I also wanted to give a big thank you to Palocz Istvan for organizing the party and giving a great demo of Drupal 5.0 from the site administrator's point of view.
