Your work for FOQ

What is the "blogtest" option up there?

I'm just curious to know more about your work with FOQ, in particular, what system did you use to get their grant database organized? Did you set these up as book entries within Drupal, or something else?  Oh, and why no love to Donorge with their donations, like say here, http://sarahhousesb.org/donate

Htmlarea, huh? I tried on my site but it really slowed things, down. Of course, they were slow already. And you even got the image uploads working. That is impressive.

Hey Jason,Blogtest is left

Hey Jason,

Blogtest is left over with some playing around w/ Drupal's node access and the taxonomy access module.

In the case of FQ, it was pre-donorge. Now, some organizations are resistant to the idea of putting their donate button in a gateway site w/ the idea that it could detract donors from donating to their org, and will get distracted on donorge and put it somewhere else. I like the idea behind Donorge and naturally the above conceptualization comes from organizations versus network thinking where survival of the fittest and healthy competition for donations would seem to ultimately make sure the money goes where there is greatest efficiency and use of the funds. I see it like an ebay for donations - where people who want to give can search for something good to give to, and factors like the transparency of their donation, ability to see results from their donation, etc., will ultimately matter a great deal in what civil society is helping to fund...and this can only help donors, orgs, and recipients alike. It's great...
