Ian and I will be up in New York for the next two days meeting some really exciting people here at the conference and at the CivicSpace get together tomorrow. (Washington, DC) This spring, DC Mayor Anthony A. Williams' focus on the environment highlights the important issue of recycling obsolete electronics. As part of the District's celebration of Earth Day numerous agencies District wide are putting events together for GreenDC Week, April 18th – 23rd.

The Office of the Clean City, DPW – Office of Recycling, The George Washington University, and several other community partners are hosting a free electronics recycling collection event for Washington, DC residents on Saturday, April 23rd, at the Rock Creek Park - Carter Barron Amphitheatre parking lot on 16th and Kennedy Streets, NW, Washington, DC.
